Herunder følger en liste over stregkode-præfix.
Stort set alle varerne i danske butikker er forsynede med en stregkode også kaldet EAN (European Article Number) og i forbindelse med stregkoden, står der nogle tal.

De første 2-3 cifre angiver oprindelseslandet.

Danmark (plus Færøerne og Grønland) har stregkoder, som starter med præfixet 57.

Så hvis man gerne vil købe dansk, så kan man altså starte med at undersøge stregkoderne på varerne, hvis der ikke står, at de er producerede i Kolding eller Esbjerg for eksempel.
